Page Headers

We introduced page headers, which, when executed effectively, can significantly enhance in-site user journeys.

It began with their existing value proposition (Fig. 1), followed revision, the introduction of breadcrumbs, and a visual (Fig. 2).

A third version places a section navigation beside the value proposition, and uses the visual in a more powerful way, edge to edge, below the header (Fig. 3)

By prominently displaying the organization’s core value proposition alongside a section menu that lists key navigation items, we empower users to grasp the essence of the organization at a glance. Ultimately, we would place the header below the featured image.

In-page navigation

A also introduced a secondary navigation below the header help save users time. It encourages scanning and allows users to jump to a section of interest which can be exceptionally useful, especially for those with only a New York minute to spare.

We designed a refresh of THE CITY’s presentation deck. It included templates and information pairings they could mix and match to adapt to any business situation.
